Description of MS M.905 I, fol. 194r

Pentecost -- Dove of Holy Ghost, cross-nimbed, with rays emanating, above Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, arms crossed over breast, flanked by twelve Apostles, nimbed, three with joined hands raised, one orant. Scene within decorated initial S.
In lower margin, crane, standing on right foot, holds serpent in beak, amid foliate ornament.
