Description of MS M.730 fol. 111r

Initial M:
Psalm 101 (Vulg., 100).
Initial M beside male musician seated with crossed feet, playing pipe and tabor, and with descender formed by fantastic animal bitten by dragon with foliate tail.
Line ending: three men dancing, one in center with raised hands pointing to head, and the right one playing bagpipe.
Line ending: two heraldic escutcheons of Boisleux and Neuville-Vitasse.
Line ending: three fantastic animals, two swallowing the third biting the first one.
Line ending: hybrid animal with two bodies.
Line ending: two escutcheons, one gules, a bordure argent, and the other gules, a bordure and a canton (?) argent, both flanking two men wrestling.
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
In lower margin below last line of text, half-nude male acrobat blowing horn, wrapped around last syllable of "bat" of word "ministrabat" of verse 6 of Psalm 101 (Vulg., 100).
