1) Christ: in Mandorla -- In upper half of book cover, Christ, wearing crown decorated with cross, holding scroll in left hand, raising right hand, seated, sits in mandorla flanked by two seraphim.
2) Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, head inclined, in long loin cloth, is affixed to cross with four nails to rough-hewn cross with titulus inscribed IESUS NAZA(RENUS REX) IUDEORUM.
