Description of MS M.52 fol. 276v

David: pacified by Abigail -- Beside ass bearing filled bags, Abigail, flask hanging from left arm, kneels before David, holding shield decorated with harp, mounted on caparisoned horse with breastplate inscribed DAVID, followed by mounted soldiers, some holding lances. One soldier holds standard decorated with harp.
To right, two men astride camels bearing casks.
Scene within landscape with building.
Miniature and text framed by border decorated with budding and full columbines and inhabited by two butterflies and snail.
Decorated initial D begins Psalm 27 (Vulg., 26).
