Miniature:
Avis aus Roys: Text, 1. Prologue -- King, seated in profile, legs crossed (right over left), holds scepter in right hand and raises left hand. Second king, seated frontally, points with right hand to first king. Both kings are bearded, crowned, wearing mantles, and seated on faldstools decorated with animal heads. David, crowned, bearded, stands behind second king and holds scroll inscribed REGES INTELLIGITE.
Margin, upper:
Centaur holds hilt of sword in left hand.
