Description of MS M.43 fol. 8r

1) Cain and Abel: bringing Offerings -- Cain raises sheaf of wheat and Abel raises horned lamb on their draped hands; they flank draped altar.
Scene caption in Anglo-Norman French, CI OFFRE CAIN DES GARBES E ABEL DES AIGNELS.
2) Cain: killing Abel -- Cain with jawbone strikes head of Abel, bleeding, looking back at him, with hands raised, partly kneeling.
