Description of MS M.399 fol. 42r
Christ: of Sorrows -- Christ, as Man of Sorrows, crowned with thorns, wearing loincloth, within aureole, indicates bleeding side wound with right hand.
Miniature and text framed by floreate border inhabited by caterpillar.
