Description of M.256 fol. 197r

Agatha of Catania, nimbed and crowned, holds book with right hand and with left, plate on which are two breasts. Agatha stands before wall within initial D decorated with two heads or masks.
Margins decorated with blocks of floreate ornament on gold ground, inhabited by two putti, one embracing dog, and the other resting left hand on back of the dog.
