Peter Martyr: Scene, Martyrdom -- In foreground, Peter Martyr, nimbed and tonsured, wearing habit of Dominican, crouches, knife in his head. Behind him man wearing hat, with knife in right hand stabs back of companion of Peter, tonsured, also wearing habit of Dominican, raising right hand and turning to look at his attacker.
