Description of MS M.218 fol. 81v

David and Bathsheba (?) -- David, wearing hat-like crown and fur collar, holding scepter in left hand, sits on throne on raised dais beneath canopy and beside standing man, wearing hat. Before him kneels woman, possibly Bathsheba, veiled, gesturing with left hand. In background on terrace visible through arched doorway, man, possibly Uriah, kneels before David, wearing same hat-like crown and fur-collared robe, and holding scepter (David: sending Uriah to Joab ?).
Miniature enclosed in architectural frame composed of caryatids and other classical elements.
