Description of MS M.187 fol. 51v
Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, rests right hand o hindquarters of bridled ass, and holds crutch (?) over left shoulder. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, sits sideways on the ass, cradling swaddled Christ Child, nimbed.
Scene in initial D in landscape.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by butterfly, dog and mallard.
