Shepherds: Annunciation -- One of two shepherds is seated on ground, holding pedum with right arm and shielding eyes with left hand. Only bust of other shepherd, wearing hat, is visible. Three sheep are between them. Both look up toward hovering angel holding scroll.
Scene in floreate initial D with landscape of rock on hill with opening to cave, and hills and trees in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by butterfly, animal mask, rabbit, and either lynx, cheetah, jaguar or leopard.
