Description of MS M.126 fol. 129r

Confessio Amantis: Scene, Metamorphosis of Leucothoe -- Leucothoe is recumbent on ground, wrapped in cross inscribed shroud, her head visible with stalk of flowers emerging from her mouth. Her father, Orchamus, crowned, wearing cloak and long tunic lined with vair, stands at right, swinging censer with left hand, and raising right hand.
Scene in landscape with trees and plants, wall with niches in background, all beneath blue sky with gold stars.
Champie initial T with spray-work.
