Description of MS M.126 fol. 12v

Confessio Amantis: Scene, Mundus deceiving Paulina and Scene, Death of false Priests -- At left, within building, Paulina and Mundus, heads on cushion, recline on draped bed on platform. At right, executioner, raising saber with right hand, stands beside two priests, tonsured, with joined hands, kneeling, one with purse hanging from girdle.
Scenes in rooms with tile floor and decorated walls.
Champie initial I with spray-work.
