Description of MS M.1042 fol. 45v

Psalm 069 (Vulg., 068).
Nimbed angel, holding candle in candlestick, appears above David, crowned, nude, stepping forward on water from sailboat with bird-headed prows and with broken mast, with his right arm grasped in left hand of standing Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, raising His right hand in blessing.
Figures against diapered background, within initial S decorated with foliage.
In left margin, foliate extensions with terminal of hybrid man, wearing cap, blowing horn.
