In right panel of vignette in lower margin are two men, one raising mallet overhead in both hands, and the other holding rod in right hand and ring in left hand, flanking barrel (Month, Occupation: August). In background are distant trees. Left margin decorated with foliate ornament. Miniature and ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
