Christ: Nativity -- Nude Christ Child, nimbed, reclines on edge of mantle of Virgin Mary, at left, nimbed, kneeling with joined hands looking down at Him. Joseph the Carpenter, at right, kneels with joined hands. Ass and ox are in background behind wattle fence. Three angels, center angel nimbed, hover above them, and below scroll inscribed GLORIA IN EXCELC[IS]. Scene in wood frame shed. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame with niches containing four male (?) statues, nimbed, one holding book.
