Confessio Amantis: Scene, Trojan Horse entering Troy -- Large horse, hindquarters visible outside city gate, head visible at other side, with group of soldiers wearing armor and helmets emerging from back, enters city. Horse is covered with red drape decorated with two-headed eagle, in gold. At right on tower of city wall, group of soldiers on top level hold stones; another soldier at middle level aims crossbow toward horse. Scene in landscape with trees, with fence in foreground. Champie initial A with spray-work.
