Zone 1:
1) Joshua: Conquest of Kings Five, and Joshua: staying Sun and Moon -- Soldiers, in mail, some wearing helmets and visors, mounted, ride through city gate. They attack five crowned kings and soldiers, some fallen from horses. They are armed with notched falchion, swords, halberd, axe, lances, one bannered, and shields. Joshua, wearing visor, mounted on caparisoned horse, holds sword in his right hand and raises his left hand toward sun and moon. Illustration of Joshua 10:7-14.

1) Samson: in Prison -- Samson, twice represented as shorn, is chained between two jailers before prison door, and working millstone within the prison. Illustration of Judges 16:21.

1) Levite: returning with Dead Concubine -- Dead concubine hangs over back of ass; five men, including one pointing and another with clasped hands, flank Levite, wearing cap, holding scourge, goading the ass. Illustration of Judges 19:28.
