Flock of sheep in foreground; mountains with trees in background. Decorated frame.

The youngest Magus, beardless, holds pyxis-shaped container in his hands; the middle-aged Magus points toward star (not represented). The eldest Magus, half-kneeling, extends gift toward Christ Child, cross-nimbed, holding roll in His left hand and raising His right hand in blessing. He sits on lap of and held by Virgin Mary, pearled nimbus, veiled, seated on throne, with feet on footstool. Decorated frame.

He holds nimbed soul of Virgin Mary, clothed, with her hands clasped at her breast. They are flanked by seven nimbed apostles, one with decorated nimbus, including tonsured Peter swinging censer and bald Paul. Two nimbed angels, raising draped hands to their faces in mourning, descend from above. Decorated frame.
